High grade 316L surgical grade stainless steel is built for corrosion resistance and available in brushed steel (The Day Trip) and PVD coated black (Midnight Landing), and the Special Edition.
The sapphire crystal face is scratch resistant and the protected screw down crown adds to the water resistance.
The Seaplane Automatic is durable enough to endure an underwater dive up to 330ft.
The Day Trip and Midnight Landing are powered by the Swiss SW 200-1. The Special Edition uses the iconic ETA 2824-2.
Your arm movement charges the watch so there is no need for batteries and certainly no need to plug it into the wall. A 38-hour power reserve keeps the time running when the watch is set down, so you can pick up right where you left off.

The unidirectional bezel is protected by scratch resistant sapphire crystal and lit up by Super Luminova® on the numerals and indices.
It is capable of tracking dive time underwater in dark conditions and is engineered to withstand the knocks of adventure to retain its “out of the box” look for decades.
A unique dial design subtly depicts the line where the sky meets the sea as the stars navigate the seaplane towards it's next adventure.
The highest grade BGW9 Super Luminova® Grade A EF lights up a cool blue on the indicies and hands to keep visibility in darkness for hours.
